How to enable Dahua Wizsense IP camera built-in Mic and Audio setup on NVR

Whether it is a business or home, using Dahua camera features with enhanced audio settings can effectively provide stronger security protection. Monitor meeting rooms, common areas and entrances with visual and audio insights to ensure a safe work environment. Enterprises can also customize sound detection settings based on specific security zones. Adjusting Dahua microphone sensitivity levels and defining the types of sounds that should trigger alerts minimizes false alarms while ensuring important events don’t go unnoticed.We have got many customers asking about how to enable Dahua Built-in Mic and audio setup on Wizsense IP Camera xx-PV models such as 8MP IPC-HDW3849H-AS-PV.

Please refer to the following steps to enable built-in mic function:

• Download and install the Dahua IP search tool “ToolBox” on the computer, and run configtool.
• ToolBox download link: https://www.dahuasecurity.com/asset/upload/uploads/soft/20210708/General_ToolBox_Eng_Extranet_Install_V1.010.0000000.0.R.20210609.zip

• Initialize the camera and access the camera via browser, you may refer to our YouTube Video, which will show you how to operate step by step.

• Select the Enable checkbox in Main Stream and Sub Stream, and select Mic in Audioin Type, then click save. See the image below:

• If you are using a new NVR, please refer to the YouTube video above to Initialize the NVR and enter its web page. Please refer to the image below:

• Click the Setting>Camera, as shown in the picture below, so that we can get access to the camera with built-in microphone.

• Click the browser icon of the corresponding model camera to enter the camera menu, enter the camera account name and password, the password is generally the same as the NVR password

• Select the Enable checkbox in Main Stream and Sub Stream, and select Mic in Audioin Type, then click save. See the image below:

5.Operate on the display connected to the NVR, turn on the audio function of the corresponding camera, see the image below, then click Apply.
